Bought a 70

that entire seam from front of the sail panel, into the rear glass, and into the trunk gutter is extremely involved........ the Dutchman's are usually too tight, as was this one..... so I just whack the flanges off in the beginning...... I still have a bunch of stitching up to do, it's what it takes

It's amazing how many restorations happen without any of this test fitting and adjustments just for the owner to find out their glass and trim does not fit right on their freshly painted car.

someone's build posted just the other day....... rear glass wouldn't fit

I'm not even sure how that happens, there's at least 3/8" all the way around..... were they expecting the trim to fit too?

I knew I had that glass; but it had been leaned up against a tree for almost 20 years........ I dug it up last night, there was 2 of them! ..... they cleaned up pretty decent...... I can't tell if they are green unless I compare them to something else, I'm almost certain one of them came from an A/C car

I’ll take the green one if sell it :asskiss:

I'm not sure either one is green, I should have other glass here to compare to........ I think my original green glass is in the attic; someone dropped me off a 12 foot step ladder, I need to see what's up there
