I took my Charger for its first ride. I changed the pitman arm, and it seems fine. Is I’m hearing a bad scrapping g sound, like the rims are loose. I’m going to put the car on jack stands with the tires off the ground and see if it makes the same sound. But from those pics are the rims sitting right on the axle hub?

Well, I found out what the noise was. The rear disc brake caliper pins are slightly rubbing on spots on the rims. What a weird thing to happen. You can see it in the picture.(hopefully). I can either grind them down or try and write to company who puts these kits together and see what they say.

Are you sure the wheel is sitting flush against the hub? Kind of looks like the wheel opening isn't big enough.

Are you running 15” wheels?

Yes. It looks like I might be able to put some spacers where the caliper brackets get mounted. That should bring the caliper back a bit. It only needs to back maybe an ⅛” or so. The prior owner put This kit in and the car was never driven. this

It fits well inside the rim, if anything I thought the rim was too wide. I was thinking the wheel hub wasn’t sticking out enough.

Try another Chrysler wheel with the correct back spacing if you have one. Can’t hurt.

The problem is not the rim. The caliper mounts that were used for the conversion just need to be spaced out a little more. Im going to get some stainless-steel washers and add the spacing tomorrow. :praying:
