A what? Daytona wing Mustang

This turd shows up at the Reno Hot August Nights festival every year.

:BangHead: . I’m curious to know the reactions of people though
I'd guess.....
Ford people hate it
Mopar people hate it.
Chevy people don't care one way or another.

Edit: if I had a good running gen 1 hemi, I wouldn't put it in anything newer than the engine. I'd stick it in my 49 Plymouth or my 33 Imperial sedan.
An early hemi belongs in a Willys, Anglia, Austin, 32 Ford, etc. Just my opinion.

Thats a FiberFab front end, which I personally like. The rest of the car... an abortion that lived imnsho. What a waste of goof parts.

No.

And the thing is, that car was one of Ford's better ideas. And was zippy and fun with a high winding 289 in it.
Should have done this to a '73. The nose piece would have at least sort of melded into the front then and the Wing could have been a lot shorter and still gotten the idea across with that long fastback window and short trunk.

Not sure why the early hemi..... I would have stuck that in a shortbox pick up with fat rubber and cut outs, because those engines sound mean. This seems like a mad science experiment. I mean at this point why not a Buick Nailhead so it could go for the trifecta of GM/Ferd/wing car? Then he could pull up with Beach Boys 409 blasting out the stereo and make everyone say in unison "WTF?"

People can do whatever they want to their own car but..... No.

P.S.: I commend the FAT RUBBER. I find the choice of wheels.... disturbing.
