I have 275/60/15s on the back of my 62, a 10.8 by 28" tire, stock suspension, plenty of room.

What size tire on a 62 requires moving the springs?

Icetech has 30s. I have room for 30s. I'm frankly surprised your 28" tall tires fit. 62s have the axle biased to the front of the opening. That's the reason for moving the axle back. AND, it looks better.

yeah.. i might move mine to the lower holes, just a lot of work to do it now. the 30s barely fit.. they will rub on the outer well if i go over a big dip.. has only happened like twice, but that area is all smoth curves, nothing that can hurt the tires.. so not too worried bout it.

The fronts are 215/75/15 and man what a difference new front tires made.. i was hating the car with the crusy old BFGs (over 30 years old and rock hard) not i barely feel bumps...

Only real complaints right now is it shakes a bit too much at idle.. and a header tube is bouncing off the torsion bar at idle.. i need to fix that. it's on the list.
Park it next to a tree. Ratchet strap the header to the tree, and pull away from the t-bar.

naw.. my motor is a tiny bit crooked.. i just haven't fixed it... the '61 motor mounts are just odd. It's on the list :)

Ahah! The light came on! Icetech and I have PLYMOUTHS! Your Dodge has different length springs, wheelbase, and wheelwell openings. Mystery solved.

I didn't know that... and i wish i could move my front wheels back a little also... but it's much nicer with the rears where they should be.

I know my 62 Dart has the same exact springs as my 67 Barracuda.

Had no idea 62 Plymouth was different than the Dodge, at all.

They aren't. The front spring hanger is an inch longer on a Dodge than on a Plymouth. This is true for most B-bodies ( the exception is station wagons), and how Chrysler cheaply changed the wheelbases. When you pay more for a Dodge than a Plymouth, you expect a bigger car, right? To inexpensively move the wheels back on a Plymouth, use a Dodge front spring hanger. This is why Mopar Performance had different spring hangers for use with shorter S/S springs for Dodge and Plymouth.
On S/S springs the front section length from locating pin to front eye is 20". This measurement is 21" on '62-'65 B-body springs. The Mopar Performance hangers were engineered for '66 and up spring replacement, where this front segment was 22". To put the shorter S/S springs in a '62-'65 Dodge, use the Plymouth MP. hanger. To put the shorter S/S spring in an early Plymouth, you can use a stock Dodge front hanger, or drill new set of holes 1" farther rearward on MP. Plymouth hangers.

In order of pics, front spring hanger on:
My 62 Dodge (new from PST).
My 64 Belvedere with S/S springs, bought this way.
My 64 Fury wagon.

S/S springs on top of wagon springs (8, 6, 7, leafs).

When I put the new springs on my wagon I ordered/installed the same front spring hangers, appeared to be no different than stock wagon, except for the extra hole.

So are my 62 hangers stock Dodge?

Can I install those S/S springs on my 62 Dodge using the hangers in pic #2?
