1968 Dodge Charger Actuator: I am missing the driver's side headlamp actuator and metal bezel that holds it in place. Should I try to find one (so far, no luck), or should I purchase the electric conversion kit that some vendors sell. Dick Smart designed one. Does anyone have experience with these conversion kits? Thanks!

If that does not work also try E Bay--they usually have a few for sale there, too...

Please post a picture of what you need. I might have it for you.

As a moderator here I have to ask, why wouldn't you ask for a part in a Parts Wanted ad?

In my first post I did not request an actuator. I was asking for opinions on if I should try to find the original actuator or if I should purchase one of the electric conversion kits. If respondents said to find one of the original actuators, then I was planning on posting for one in a Parts Wanted ad section. If respondents said to purchase the electric conversion kits, then I would not place a Parts Wanted ad, but rather purchase a new kit. Sorry for the confusion.
