Just wanted to start this thread now so that the whining can commence and so the boomers/gen xer's can start spreading the word of the LS swapped Satellite out of anger!

Im the same guy that LS swapped my Cuda! That thread can be found on LS1tech. I daily drove that car for nearly 4 years with the junkyard LS and $200 4l60 and then sold it for 30k not long ago.

That is the same plan with this car. Make it a daily driver for a fraction of what a hemi swap would cost.

So, for those in the background afraid to do this because they fear what strangers will think. Tag along because I don't care what strangers think!

Car will be getting a cammed gen 3 6.0/4l60e set up. Right now it has its original, junk, boat anchor of a 318 in it that is well worn out. It will also be getting all new, upgraded front suspension afterwards.

Putting that aside, it doesn’t bother me. If I had the parts laying around and needed a motor I would do it too, hell there were times when I had my LandCruiser that I had unpure thoughts of a Toyota V8 in my Coronet.

Putting that aside, it doesn’t bother me. If I had the parts laying around and needed a motor I would do it too, hell there were times when I had my LandCruiser that I had unpure thoughts of a Toyota V8 in my Coronet.

I thought about dropping in a 4BT Cummins into my 95 Dakota awhile back. They put out more torque than that pos V6 that's in it now and the MPG is way up there too.

Nope....imo, it would be a waste of a good engine not to mention the Capri's engine compartment is probably not big enough.

Maybe if he had left out all the BS in his 1st post things may have not turned out so negative.....his first sentence set the stage for the crap he got.....plus starting it in the Member's Projects & Restorations forum might have helped too. Also, I'm betting you can find all kinds of LS swaps into all kinds of different brands of cars on one of the more popular Chevy sites.
