70 Satellite LS Swap

Just wanted to start this thread now so that the whining can commence and so the boomers/gen xer's can start spreading the word of the LS swapped Satellite out of anger!

Im the same guy that LS swapped my Cuda! That thread can be found on LS1tech. I daily drove that car for nearly 4 years with the junkyard LS and $200 4l60 and then sold it for 30k not long ago.

That is the same plan with this car. Make it a daily driver for a fraction of what a hemi swap would cost.

So, for those in the background afraid to do this because they fear what strangers will think. Tag along because I don't care what strangers think!

Car will be getting a cammed gen 3 6.0/4l60e set up. Right now it has its original, junk, boat anchor of a 318 in it that is well worn out. It will also be getting all new, upgraded front suspension afterwards.

Curious about your newbie status.....what happened to your UserID when you LS-swapped the Cuda?

Are you suggesting you have two or more identities here?

Don’t you sweat the geezer’s on here. They don’t like swaps like this. So just to throw more fuel to the fire, you make damn sure to get the adapters to run the HellCat super charger, that’ll confuse everyone!

It doesn't bother me much unless they take a really nice car and butcher it. Just got tired of seeing Chevy engines in dang near every kind of vehicle out there. Geez, do something different for a change.

That i do agree with... everytime i see one in anything it's like.. ok... again? They are amazing motors though..i had a couple of LS cars.. not a bad word to say bout it..

BUT.. you put a 300 straight 6 ford in there with a manual trans.. then you got something

Or a 4.0 Jeep 6!! And yeah, the LS engines are good. I think the 300 Ford is a bit tall and won't fit into the smaller cars?? Lean it over too I guess lol
