I had a gold 1972 Demon just like that in high school. Oh wait it was a 318 3 speed not a 340 GSS!! LoL

I’m curious, was it a 3 speed on the column or on the floor? Both my brothers had 72 Demons at one time, one was a 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column, the other was a 340 with a 3 speed on the floor. I’m wondering how they did a 318 3 speed. I’d guess on the column.

I don't know A bodies, but I knew someone with a 318 3 speed road runner (1974) and it was on the floor.

Six cyl and small block A body cars have always had the option (unlike B body cars until after 1970) of having a 3 speed manual shift on the floor or the column.

It had the deluxe interior and it was a bucket seat with 3 speed on the floor. Rally wheels. It was a very good car, I bought it from someone local in the summer of 1974.
