Dual plane Poly intake?

That appears to be a single plane Mike. All runners are at the same level.
That's what I thought too. I questioned that in the title. It looks a lot like the 7503 Weiand.

Mike, I just found a thread on A bodies "Tested the new Poly SuperPac manifold" It shows a new dual plane they made and tests it against the Weiand. Good read!

I wish they still made the SuperPac manifold. They were cast in Mexico in a small and crude foundry. They supposedly worked well. Designed like an Air Gap.

That has my curiosity as well. $500 is a big gamble on an unknown intake. Who is producing these?

One line of their description says dual plane and the other says single plane. Looks like a Weiand copy.

IMO, I'd chop out as much as I could of the center divider and install port injector bungs for EFI, mill the carb mounting pad parallel, and have at it.
My feeling is a dual plane is best for a street wet manifold application, single plane all else.

Now that I think about it. I'd lop off the whole top, ditch the entire center divider, and convert it to 2 small 4bbl throttle bodies. Drop in a 4" stroker, nice cam, TTi headers, and give that 8.75 a workout. :bananadance:

A friend of mine is having alum Poly heads & an intake made in China. Not sure if intake is SP or DP design. The Weiand above was pretty poor; on a friends car, there was very little improvement over the stock 2bbl.

I have a real nice one but no reason to do a swap if you loose bottom end.

One set of heads will be expensive.
