Hi all

Can anyone help identify what this distributor actually is? I know it is for a RB or Hemi but apart from that it is a mystery

The tag says YC-365-HP but from searches that comes up as a completely different unit

Any help will be appreciated

The YC-365-HP was a dual point for a RB. This has been converted to electronic. See the point imprint between the screw holes.

The only thing I cant work out is I have looked at dual point breaker plates and compared to this one and cant see how this was ever dual point as there isnt enough holes (see pics)

It would be nice to convert this back to dual point

It might be valuable to a guy building a retro gasser, and wants to use a mechanical tach.
Ok, It would be good to get it back to dual point to make it original as the electronic conversion isnt the best, as in the reluctor does move a few degrees by hand so definitley will at rpm with vibrations
