how many open projects do you have going on?

We have been doing a work over on our rental.
Getting ready to sell it along with the 30x50 Morton.
Better half is right in there with me.
Right now we are a little over 1/2 way on scraping the exterior paint. Planning to spray it this weekend if the weather holds.
My other projects are at a stand still until this one is done.

That's all I've ever done, work, work, work!! That's why I bought a NEW home and when it starts to need work, I'll watch someone else do it. That's why I worked, worked, worked, when I was younger..... They mow the lawns here on Thursdays........... I can't take it with me and I'm on a roll. This is not meant to be arrogant, it's just how it is.

Having an attitude of “why should I hire anyone to do something I can do myself” begins to take its toll in the 70s. Plus, I found in my earlier years that having a perfection bent, anything I do usually takes 2 to 3 times longer than I expect it to. And now it’s more like 4 to 5 times longer. So as a result my list is growing. It took me a week to repair damaged wood on an exterior door frame, prime and repaint the frame/door, and find all the necessary bottom seal and a threshold sweep and install them. I can’t hardly afford myself.

taking a survey......

dedicating Sundays to my car comes with a price; because, you know, wife........

so here is just one (of several :BangHead: ).......She asked for a giant stand alone tub. I put it by a window so she can keep an eye on the slave while taking a bubble bath

reminds me of this....

I thought the psychedelic shack was where it’s at…

Can I talk about motorcycle work?
The six volt battery died on my Kawasaki, when the maintainer thing quit. New bits to pick up. KE100.
My Triumph Trophy is too tall, or I am getting shorter. Measuring for a new mono shock.
My summer regular bike, an SV1000 Suzuki needs all new fluids. A front fork seal is also leaking.
My winter bike, an 83 XS400 needs new exhaust pipes. I have the pipe and hydraulic bender, but never used it for this.
My 79 XS11100, that pulls the side car, is apart, and I forgot why. I think it is the front brakes.

I will work on the bikes on rainy days, meanwhile there is outside stuff to do, before it gets too chilly. The Tukvan is another list.
