Holley carburetor vacuum secondary metering plate screws

Hello,
Where do you find a tool to remove these weird screws? They have a strange pattern that no hardware store seems to have. I just left a Speed Shop where the clerk said it is no longer being made. I have tried to remove these screws before using a standard screwdriver and have deformed the screws.

Sometimes they come in those kits with a hundred different bits.. but I just modify an old flat blade to fit

They are called clutch head screws. You can find the drivers online. Summit, Amazon, ebay etc.

I remember seeing a screwdriver that had that pattern on the end. I want that. Holley used to offer a handle with a fuel jet pattern in the end, I never bought one because a flat blade screwdriver worked fine. I have two 600 CFM vacuum secondary carburetors and a 750 that I’d like to go through. The 600s both have screws that won’t budge with a flat blade screwdriver. I prefer one with the tip cast into the shaft since the ones with removable tips are prone to losing the tips.

Clutch head is what you need as mentioned. Don’t know where to buy. I think I bought mine from Snap-On like 40 years ago.

They sell clutch drive bits you can put in your screwdriver.
There are several sizes out there so have a sample screw with you.
Snap on tool truck is a great source.

Got mine at Menards in a magnetic screw driver and bits as a set. I’ll go out and manufactures name

I realize that you are trying to help but......
If I could remove a screw to take it in to match it up, I would not need this tool.

Those look like the bits for exterior (and interior) screws campers, rvs and mobile homes were built with. Is that what were talking about?? TIA

Maybe so.
I am reminded of that meme that shows a picture of all different screw tip patterns and claims that Standard and Phillips are actual screws and that the other 20 patterns are mental disorders.

5/32 clutchhead if memory is correct on size. I've had a driver just for that since the mid 70's. Still need it sometimes.

Late to the party, but when I had to rebuild the Holley that came with my stang back in the day I was able to use one side of the tips of needle nose pliers to unscrew them. Not correct but it worked and I had to get the car fixed to get to work that night.

5/32 is correct... Bought mine off the Mac tool truck around 81...

In 1981 I turned 16. I had Dad's tool kit. Three screwdrivers, a hammer and pliers.
I've been able to remove the screws with a flat blade screwdriver before but not on these 2 600 CFM carbs I have here.
