Installing a late model Charger console shifter in a 70 Satellite.

So we are customizing a 1970 Satellite with a 2008 Charger interior seats and center console.

So the newer shifter is electronic lock so that's no problem when key is on I'll run power to it. Routing a cable for shifting.....problem?

The cable comes off the front of the shifter. Should I use the newer cable ( I will need to go get) or has anyone else done this?
Also the linkage for the throttle kick down? The diagrams of cable mounting does not show how to include this. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

Look for a guy on youtube who is restoring a 69 Charger. He is putting in a console from a 2014 Dodge Dart.
