Earlier today was doggy torture[ bath] time. All clean, fluffy and great smelling now. Just in time for family tomorrow. The cage for the cargo lift works great for this.

As you guys know my daughter is a veterinarian nurse. She texted me a picture this week of a German Shepard with a branch through his chest. The branch diameter was a little over an inch. I guess a fireman neighbor had to cut the branch about a foot longer on each end . Somehow they got the dog loaded and to the hospital. They were able to remove the branch and took a long time removing splinters. The doctor said that's what rib cages were for. Happy end result, the dog got to go home that night.
I thought about posting the pic but it's a little too gruesome.

This one has it made. He's my friends shop dog, well, his everything dog. This one is by his side all day. He has a time clock to punch from one job to the other and everytime someone goes to the clock he demands a treat from the bag they keep by it. If they don't show up often enough, he sits there and moans and groans. It's a blast to watch. Spoiled rotten!!! LOL

That reminds me of Zeke. He has his mama wrapped around his toe. When she is wake and near the treat containers, he sits right by and starts talking till mama hooks her boy up.

Our cat passed a couple days ago. (We think she was 20). A few months ago when she seemed to be bugging my girlfriend daily, she said NO MORE cats. Honestly, she does ALL the maintenance and feeding, of both our cat and dogs. My job is to play with them five times a day, and cover vet bills. I think I got a bargain.
Today, a much softer gf says if I really want a kitten (that isn't scared to death of big dogs, lol) we can get one.
Now all I have to do is find a tortie (I REALLY want a tortie!) in the shelter.
