Seat Side Shield

I am currently installing my front seats and need to attach the side shields. Having some problems locating the front screw hole in the frame. Anyone have a picture of a frame showing this? Passenger side preferably.

I believe that by looking closely from the underside of the frame with a light, that I could see the holes for the screws and then I took a sharp awl and stuck it in the hole and out through the upholstery. Then aligned the skirt to insert the screw threw the upholstery at the puncture hole and screw into the frame.

Yeah that worked for me on the driver side but not on the passenger side.
