About 50 feet, so I could clean the disaster that is my garage....
Never tell me yours isn't nice. Anytime someone sacrifices to own a car, it's nice, be proud!!I agree, I do that but mine isn't really nice even tho I do still worry someone will steal it. Its cool seeing nice examples out and about.
That's a nice truck! I enjoyed those years, I had two. Not quite that stout though, they were 360, 1/2 tons.
Thanks. I'm as proud of it as any car I've had, including the shiny ones. I look at it as a different tier, more the Roadkill level. I love it just as much, but I don't worry about shopping carts dinging it as much. That alone makes it more enjoyable, constant worry over a shiny black Scat Pack ruined a lot of my fun.Never tell me yours isn't nice. Anytime someone sacrifices to own a car, it's nice, be proud!!
It's called smiles per miles. It comes from a feeling, not a paint job. I think you have it figured out!! Enjoy and be safe! Thanks. I'm as proud of it as any car I've had, including the shiny ones. Thanks - sitting at 285k miles now. Cummins/six speed stick/4x4.That's a nice truck! I enjoyed those years, I had two. Not quite that stout though, they were 360, 1/2 tons.
Having them is almost like they're on, in my mind. As long as it doesn't spread pass the replacements, you're good as gold till you decide. I've built whole cars and never knew how to do anymore than tack weld, a friend always did that for me. I'd cut it out, fabricate it, tack it in, and he'd come by and sew it up. He left his tig welder at my house for months at a time and I still didn't learn. LOL. Sounds like it's been a good truck. If you follow the book and do as they recommend, when they recommend it, they'll run a long time. You take good care of your stuff, that's obvious. Thanks - sitting at 285k miles now. I put a clutch in it at 250k.
I have rockers and cab corners that I need to get put on (I should have learned how to weld...), but other than that, no complaints. 20mpg like clockwork!
