Holley carburetor vacuum secondary metering plate screws

I just cut the tip off of one of my screwdrivers and ground it into the shape of a clutch drive. I have been using it for almost 40 years on Holley carbs.
 
I just rebuilt a spreadbore Holley with the same metering plates and used a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws. I have 2 differrent size clutch head drivers but they never fit. Just put a lot of pressure to prevent slipping.
 
In 1981 I turned 16. I had Dad's tool kit. Three screwdrivers, a hammer and pliers.
I've been able to remove the screws with a flat blade screwdriver before but not on these 2 600 CFM carbs I have here.
In 81 I got out of the Navy....Dad kept his tools away from me.... The Mac tool dealer & I got to be friends...
 
I’m a bit late to update…
I did order a set of clutch screw sockets and they did arrive.

The one that fits was sprayed yellow for quick identification.

If I have a kit of tools and there is only one piece I need for a particular job and the rest usually just sit I do similar with masking tape.
Mainly because I don't want to wait for anything to dry.
 
Paint often eliminated the Hey, that is MY wrench conflict.
My stuff was usually a Petty Blue.
Here in the garage, I paint some specialty stuff a specific color. The 9/16” box end gets orange, 1/2” gets blue.
Maybe if my eyes were better I’d skip the short cuts.
 
With my eyesight these days, those ARE phillips lol.
Well.... They are Phillips screws... The company making them, the company that designed them is Phillips... Another new design that will hardly get used but which will sell lots of tools to the poor bastard that has to deal with them...

If I came across that screw, a regular Phillips driver and a large hammer would be employed. :)
