Max wedge carb swap?

Id I wanted to swap my original 3705 max wedge carbs for a set edelbrock carbs will the current linkage work on those carbs or is there something I would need

I used Edelbrocks on my maxie and had to cut the bottom portion of linkage off to clear the intake surface.

As I understand it, the linkage hole to butterfly shaft distance is different on a edelbrock carb, compared to a 3705Carter. I think it causes problems having full throttle and idle speed adjustments.
IF I remember right, the linkage hole on a 3705 is 1.5" from the throttle shaft. I have an Eddie 650 in the garage, I can get a measurement.

Ive seen a lot of guys swap to the eddy haven't heard of any problem with that but I've never messed with so not sure.

Oh damn yeah you have a stroker . Id probably got with 500 cfm eddy carbs
