Disc brake recommendations

I have drum brakes on my 1970 Road Runner would like to go with disc on front. Do you guys have any suggestions for what brand to use. I see some retain my spindles Thanks

I used Leed Brakes on my 67 GTX. Installing the fronts was very straight forward and there customer service was great.

Some do retain your factory knuckles but then use a series of custom brackets and such to make it work. I’m personally not a fan of those.

I recommend changing to Chrysler A-body disc brake set up utilizing the 1973-1976 Mopar A body knuckles, rotors, caliper brackets and calipers etc. this design is what many offshore kits model after.

The knuckles and caliper brackets are often available in the used market. If time is not on your side there are lots of places to buy new (made in China likely) parts to do the job. The disposables like pads, rotors, hoses, calipers are all available from rock auto.

As previously mentioned and recommended Dr. diff is one of the many vendors that can provide you with these parts new if sourcing used stuff isn’t your bag.

This would be ideal for the OP but he wouldn’t need the upper control arms. If they were broken out and sold separately it may facilitate a sale for you?

Ya, a B body guy not needing the upper control arms.
But i would be willing to sell the brakes separately, and just try and find a buyer over on the A bodies site for just the rebuilt upper control arms.
