70 Reverse Light Wiring

Can you remove this light socket from the 70 RoadRunner reverse lights? I have a nice set but the bulb housing wires were cut. Just wondering if it comes apart and who might make repro wiring for them.

You can remove them but bear in mind the lampholder is crimped in place.... those crimps form the ground continuity.

You are better off buying inserts for the contacts and replace those, as that is usually what the issue is - corroded or smooshed contacts.

I found some on Amazon a year or so back.... Dormer is a brand.

There are a form of a replacement but not ideal like Kiwi said
