So who's into tractors

Nice, I was only commenting on what I saw in the pictures.
My father was a Massey guy. His first new tractor was 48 D John Deere. Next was a 51 Massey 22, 53 Massey 55 Western Special?
with the wide tires, great flotation working around sloughs. 1960 Massey 95. Later on he bought 2 Pony’s, 33, 44, 2 97’s which were used for work.
More working tractors were
G1000 that was a Wheatland Special.
White 2-150 with duals, I really liked to use that one.
Last new tractor he bought was a John Deere 8650. I will go through my pictures.
He passed away in 1992, my brother in 1994. 1995 our dollar was in the toilet, and we had the auction sale. The restored tractors went to USA mostly.
It was more like a garage/yard sale.
Have great memories growing up on the farm. Doing fall work and hearing the diesel change tone when the evening came and it was cooler.
I still have some of the large advertising pictures of the models that was shown at the dealership.
Do you still have the Massy 95? Or know where it is now?

You would love our fall festival and tractor parade.
Alot of respect for the farming community around us and you're surrounded by good honest people.
Our area was known for potatoes, cabbage and asparagus.
The farm down the road grows the best sweet corn ANYWHERE!
Surely would like that.
Didn’t have a tractor with a cab until Dad bought a used 97 in 1976.

Thanks for reply, but my bad, I was thinking Massey 98 not 95. The 95 was built by Minneapolis Moline whereas the 98 was built by Oliver. Sorry for the mixup.

That’s 31 years ago. Dad had it all repainted about 1980. Never used in the field after that.
I can try and find the auction records. It was one with full fenders.

i took these pics about 20yrs ago when the boys were still in school. The homecoming theme was the celebrating the local farms. The kids that could drive tractors to school were suppose to if they could..
these are my two youngest with my two JD Model A's. The spoke rear wheel is a 1938 hand start. The solid rear wheel is a 1949 with an electric starter. I still have both covered and inside, the 38 waas running earlier this year
