What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

With the old Delta 22-540, Yes... The bearings come pre-mounted on the shaft, so it only takes about 15-20 minutes tops to swap out the head. I tore the entire machine down to the last nut & bolt however, because I wanted to refurbish the entire unit. That said, I spent a little more time on...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I had an old Delta portable planer kick'n around that hadn't been run in ages. I thought about replacing it until I saw the price of a new modern one, or at least a better quality one. That said, I decided to take the old Delta apart and getting going again with a few modern upgrades along the...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Took Montana out for a spin yesterday... Needed him to pick up a load of wood pellets, to get me through the rest of the season. Nah, not really... I just needed another excuse to take him out for a spin. I love driving that truck!

1967 Dodge Charger Paint on Console

I ordered a few different Gold textures from Amazon before deciding on any particular one. In the end I believe I went with this one, but as I said there are numerous styles, colors, and finishes available. I believe I may have toned or clear coated over the top of it as well, possibly both, but...

1967 Dodge Charger Paint on Console

Their on-line catalog is chock full of generic hand drawings with no descriptions which makes specific identification all but impossible. The catalog is meant to illustrate the fact that they carry certain items. You still really need to contact them directly for specific parts and to be certain...

    Rear Window Trim Clips

This is the note on the website that I followed up on. They had a generic image of the 9067 clip (which I believe is the shorter one) with the following note. Description: Reveal Moulding Fasteners, Send a sample or email a picture to [email protected] We have many sizes and types...

    Rear Window Trim Clips

The clips in the photo are the original clips removed from my 67 and the measurements are correct. Yes, I know Todd was searching once before in the past. He mentioned not finding a source, and when I mentioned having one he never asked or responded. So I assumed he was planning to do his own...

    Rear Window Trim Clips

Reading through some older posts this morning, and decided to throw this tidbit of information out there. I know that it's generally considered impossible to purchase the "correct" trim clips for the rear window of these cars. As you know, the rear window utilizes two different clips. One can...

    Headlights motor Internal wiring diagram

Todd does good work but he's not one to divulge in house information. Mostly because he doesn't want to be blamed for something he didn't do when someone else screws up the job. Topher is a little more easy going.
