Transmission Fill Tube / Dipstick issue

I just finished getting my transmission rebuilt over the last few weeks. I also, changed out my exhaust manifolds with Summit Racing Ceramic headers. The transmission is a 727 attached to my 440 motor in my 68 Coronet 440. My problem is that the tube is not clearing around the headers and or...

    727 Torqueflite Shifting Question

I installed the Mancini racing kit on my car and all hooked up and installed properly. So, I took it out for a test ride and it is still not kicking down to the lower gear when I press on accelerator. I know there is an adjustment for the cable do I make it tighter or looser to get the linkage...

    727 Torqueflite Shifting Question

I have a 440 motor with a 727 behind it. Car is a 68 Coronet with 318 originally. There is no kickdown linkage on the motor today. The car drives and runs great, but the issue I am seeing is when I am in Drive the car will shift from 1st to 2nd gear pretty much immediately unless I manually...

    FOR SALE a-pillar trim

When you say dyed do you mean that you painted them with vinyl paint. I used dupli-color to do mine and they look great. It was a 3 step process.
