My thoughts we're to get a smaller panel and cut out what I need. Then weld it in that way I retain as much original as possible.
The drivers side had rot and was more damaged.
So the more I look at the 1/4 panel the more I think it does not need a complete replacement. Now I am no body guy but I feel I would be better off replacing the bad area. Opinions are welcome thanks guy's
This is the passenger side 1/4. there is no rust just some damage. I have a complete 1/4 but I am starting to think Its not worth the work to change the complete 1/4. Any thoughts?
My first thought was to get off as much as possible then spray rust converter. But the more I read the more confused I got. Like matthon stated they are not recommended over bare metal
I am thinking of sandblasting what I can but get worried if i miss some it comes back.
