WTB 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner/GTX Rear Bumper

I think I'm looking for one without guards then. Or possibly with guards around the tail lights. I like the painted bumper look, and don't see any online that aren't the plain bumpers, unless I'm not recognizing it easily. I'd be particularly interested to hear about the plain bumper you have.

WTB 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner/GTX Rear Bumper

Good question. I'm assuming it would be for a 2-door satellite style body. I'm not sure what the difference between the 2 and 4 door versions, but I may be willing to take a road trip for the sake of it. Going for this look:

1971-72 Dark Gold Glove Box Door

This is helpful. Thanks. The dash looks pretty close. And you're right. It does have a tint of olive/green in it, which is original. These folks here on ebay claim to have paint colors with old Chrysler codes: https://www.ebay.com/str/colormyauto They've only been in business a few...

1971-72 Dark Gold Glove Box Door

I wish I had one to give you, as I'm in a similar boat. Have a '72 Roadrunner/GTX with gold interior that needs complete restoration. The gold colors are different in different areas, as you mention. I even called the people at Herb's paints, to see if they had advice on the various gold...

Wilwood Disc Conversion & Magnum 500's

Any update on this? Had front disc conversion completed on my RR, and am dealing with the exact same issue. Wouldn't mind losing the long caps as long as all 4 wheels have the same look. Now, I've got the Wilwood caps on front, and large original caps in the rear.

    airgrabber questions 70rr

Wow, that's quite a setup. I'm glad I'm not the only one that had been thinking something similar. You should 3-D print these and call them "hsorman's Air Blocks" and sell them on amazon for $7.00. Print them in different colors that match the Chrysler hood colors to be more inconspicuous...

    airgrabber questions 70rr

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but is there a way to keep the air grabber open when the car is off (for display/show purposes)? ...assuming the air grabber is operational and working normally.

Correct Fender Decal For A 70 Roadrunner

I also see decal remover solution on amazon. I figure I could spray an inconspicuous area and see if there's any paint damage, and if not, try it on the decal. I've also seen some recommend a heat gun to soften it up to be able to pull it off. I'll update you when I get it done in the next...

Correct Fender Decal For A 70 Roadrunner

Thanks for the replies. I had never seen that eraser wheel. Scary but interesting. I'm referring to my own Road Runner. The car was painted within the past year or so, but the restorer put the front fender cartoon Road Runner decals too high on the fender. I wanted to reposition them, and...

Correct Fender Decal For A 70 Roadrunner

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread, but how did you remove the dust trail decal? Did you have any shadowing issues on the paint after you removed it?

    70 Roadrunner tail panel

I have a 70 Bird myself and was curious as to your issue. I can only find trim such as this on the GTX that I found online. A bit hard to tell from the pics if this could be a clue.

I have the exact same problem on my 70 RR dash - but on the right side. Can't see any of the smaller gauges after the speedo.

The Proper way to cook a Rib Eye steak

I use a Kamado Joe, and do it thusly (better than steakhouse): 1. Fire Kamado Joe (or Big Green Egg, or other Kamado) and heat to 600 degrees. 2. Prepare steak by rubbing moderate amount of Kosher salt on all sides. 3. Sear steak for 1-2 mins each side, depending on how well-done you like...
