So the covers are not original after looking at a few examples at a show today but something that presents as decent start for someone looking for a factory base to recover with OE style covers.
Ill post some pics here soon. These were in a Model A coupe I bought recently and went a different direction on the seats. The sliders work fine, just wish the seat backs were there and I would consider them complete.
I have a pair of seats with functional tracks, original black cover material is decent with one crease and minor split on the drivers. The seat backs are missing on both and no fasteners.
Ill be investigating this further this weekend. I wont be surprised if the flow is much less while running but will be watching very closely while opening the throttle.
It runs fine. I can agree to a point that fuel may wick from area but this is an all out running flow from just the volume from the squirter. I've never had a carb with this issue.
Looking for someone or a carb shop to rebush a throttle shaft in a WCFB. I've noticed fuel leaking out of the right primary throttle shaft immediately after fuel leaves the squirter. Not looking for a full rebuild just drilling/reaming and installing a new bushing
