    Valves that have tight lash are not noisy,just the opposite they are quieter.You can bounce this back and forth all you want.You could have had them adjusted by now and eliminated that as the possible problem Just my thought on this. And it won't cost anything orther than maybe a cover gasket...

    No,valve adjustment tightens up with milage,not loosen.Properly adjusted valves do make a little noise.Tight valves are quiet,less gap.

    Kern,most likely the valve adjustment will fix it.Hondas are very sensitive to having the correct lash and the lash service should be done every 100K.If it's something you're gonna try yourself,The car needs to be stone cold,let it sit overnite,that way you get an accurate adjustment.Good Luck.
