Good point I did measure it from the back and it does look to be 1/8 wider than my other hood. It's a pin on though. I am waiting for my son to come.home.for the holidays to help me mock it up on the car. Hopefully it will fit with out rubbing the fenders.

I have used short strand fiberglass bondo brand for structural and held up good . Shape rough and used high quality light weight over that an blocked . I would add weld to get gap first .

Did you have to modify anything to run the steel shim and gasket with the pro max plate ? Was there enough clearance for the float ?

I only see one offering for the outboard carbs from Pro Max the adjustable billet jet plates not the meter block for the cent carb ..
