After finally slowing down at work amd getting a chance to get back at it the axle shafts are still stuck. I dont know alot about 8 3/4 so bear with me. All thats left is the spindle. I can see the bearing. Ive tried putting the axle nut back on amd using the wheel and drum as slide hammer...

I guess reliability is more important power for my use but I definitely don't wanna all sound no power.

I already removed the drum (duh), backing plate and it's just down to the end of the axle with the spindle sticking out. What do I need to do to get the axle shaft out? This on a 64 with a 8 3/4. Thanks

Has anybody bought a front disc brake conversion kit that included everything they needed? I've read a lot of guys used I think 70 or so a body spindles. Is rather just spend the money to get a full kit all in one and be done. I've seen lots range from anywhere to $500 to $1300 but not really...

Would just a undersized starter or strictly a dakota? One off a 360 I'm guessing?

Yea I plan on it. I got the 440 for a steal from a family member and mopar guy I know says he has a big block pushbutton laying around so kind of lucked out there.
