I have an aluminum dash, does the brand name of the gauges matter? I notice some gauges are crazy expensive. I was looking at the speedometer and tachometer gauges primarily. I already have temperature, and oil pressure gauges. Are there any other must have gauges?

This is the latest. I will bend those tabs down and around the cage when I am finished putting the gauges in.

The original dash may not be that heavy, but the heater box and all of duct boxes, adds up. I have mine out right now as I am installing a cage. I want the minimal weight, and the minimal look. No dash pad, just the gauges. The dash side pieces cost just as much as the aluminum dash. I will get...

Does anyone know if the aluminum dash from Jegs will fit my 70 Roadrunner. My concern is the curve, if it us close or should I just fabricate my own? If anyone has pictures, I would love to see what yours looks like?

I bought the Jegs seat and their cushioned seat cover. It is very light and fits me like a glove. I am going to look into getting a cage?

What are you using for race application seats? Are aluminum the way to go or the fiberglass? Anyone have pictures of how you are securing them to the floor? Is the 5 point SFI seat belt standard? Any particular brand better, or are they all basically the same?

At low speeds 40mph or less it works well, but it is not as efficient at high speeds. It is no where close to a modern car. I am going to bleed the brakes again after going to the track today, to see if that makes a difference.

After church today I bench bled the MC then after installing it, one of the new brake lines was leaking. I had to go back and make another one. I then bled each brake starting with the wheel furthest from the MC. I had to keep refilling the MC and it took forever. I will test it in the morning.
