I have a box I bought from Rockauto
It was in the car for about a week.
My pump ran hotter than I felt was normal so pulled the box and had my original rebuilt locally

Torque conv should be matched to the engine build and the cars intended use
Not knowing the specs on the conv you have. I personally wouldn't use it as is .
A stock trans with maybe a TF2 kit with maybe a 4.2 ish range kickdown lever will hold up behind your engine reasonably well, IMO
