Is my thinking correct on this?

I added a hole to the lever on the transmission so that at idle it would be just approaching the point that throttle pressure starts and have full travel at wide open throttle. There is very little free play. Is that the right thing to do?

The outer seal is intact. The inner might have been installed backwards. Had 2 burned steels , luckily I have parts. Going to do more inspecting in the morning. I will call transgo tomorrow and see what they say. I am sure there was an error on my part.
