Hey Kim... Your "timing" is coincidental!! I literally just figured out my cylinder pressure is too high for that Cam, and so will have a new Cam ground and fitted to hopefully alleviate this issue once and for all... Meanwhile I'm running an Octane Booster to give me approx 105 RON Octane and...

Thanks for your input! I have already tried disconnecting the vac advance and running with 10,8,6 deg.if initial and it still detonates unfortunately... And at 3/4 or full throttle I'm thinking I would have nowhere near 19" of vac for the vac advance to be activated I (should) have approx 12/14...
