    Yes, I lost about the same at 5 lbs or so with the mounts removed. I added a small gusset to the steering mounting area though, but minimal.

    Agreed. 5 Lbs is what came off mine when it lost the mounts.

    I am 69 and I find that if I get a bright lamp or trouble light close to where I am welding it helps a bunch to see the puddle.
