Talking to the owners of this beauty, I said I've never seen a backseat with the Plymouth symbol in the middle. They looked at me funny.
Next day they reported back. They went and looked at all the '70s, anything with a bench, plain back seat, buckets got the Plymouth.
Makes sense, front bench...
Bilstien shocks, bigger torsion bars.
The bigger torsion bars actually did more in the front for ride/handling than the shocks.
I had installed the shocks first.
Bilstien in the rear made all the difference, already had Espo springs and a swaybar.
I have a rebuilt 318 poly with a 2 barrel.
MSD ready to run with an MSD coil.
Electronic voltage regulator.
Runs fantastic.
For my 58 Coronet I found it difficult to find the correct points and new ones that were not garbage. It still has points, no complaints.
It's akin to finding readily...
Yes! Electrical parts.
I took an 8 hour drive in my truck this past weekend and the new voltage regulator smoked my battery, literally smoking.
My new voltage regulator, installed on my truck, before I left, quit on me.
Luckily parts store nearby and someone offered to bring me.
That reminds...
OP stated he swapped to a coil that does not require resistor, an efi coil.
I'm confused, my apologies.
Imo, efi should have electronic ignition, aka no ballast resistor.
Even better, timing control.
I did Power Tour this past spring.
Day 1 we drove 8.5hrs, and weren't even there yet. Day 2 was 5.5hrs.
I brought some small spare parts, the tools to change those, and misc tools.
Screwdrivers? How many does one need? I brought a Phillips to change my cap, and a flathead to take up space...
I bought a Craftsmen mini floor jack years ago that came in a hard plastic case, like the drill cases with the handle, molded sections for the jack and rod.
Very compact, been in my trunk for years, sits between the bumper jack and rear quarter.
Bring any spare parts that aren't readily available. For example, if you have an MSD ready to run, bring an extra module.
Windshield mount for a cell phone, gps/tunes.
USB charger, either hard wired or lighter plug.
Does the spare tire have air?
Small cooler, accessible while driving.

Got a rust free trunk floor from John Fowlie of Big M Automotive for our '58 Coronet over the weekend.
He said it was cut out of a rust free '57 D500 that was unfortunately parted out years ago.
Looks like the quarters were cut off first, so I have a few inches to make up on the back sides.
It...
