Got 69rr 470 horse 440 with 727 Rev man valvebody 391 gears Calvert 90/10 up front and adjustable in back on softest setting with Mickey Thompson Street slicks ran 7.96 in 1/8th trying to go faster any suggestions

I have an rv transmission in my 69 roadrunner I recently been running mt drag radials and discovered that my trans shifts into 2nd around 3000 rpms and I can't hold it in low gear never noticed because street tires spun so easily do I need another valve body or another trans it works great otherwise

Rod is 3.22 when I cold started yesterday it was at 10psi but after running few mins dropped to 7 then after few moe mins dropped to under 5

Measuring at carb line tank sock and pickup tube all are new the rod is comp cams new

Can someone tell me why/how I have only 4 psi fuel pressure new stainless 3/8 fuel line front back new Carter fuel pump that's rated to 9 psi.new fuel pump rod it's a Howard's hydraulic roller cam does that have anything to do with fuel pressure I love my car and I am very patient man but damn...
