    a good tuned T-quad will wake that thing right up ! it took me years to figure those things out, but today, that is the carb of my choice ! too bad there isn't a low profile 2x4 intake made that will accept 2 T-quads. as i want to keep my flat hood, a tunnel ram is unfortunately out. :drinks:

    i despise slamming hoods, doors, and deck lids. it took a little time, but my charger's panels shut with just a slight "click,click". very little pressure needed, and it suits me just fine. :drinks:

    after reading this tome, and after all the trials and errors you went through KD, one other suggestion if i may. please get rid of those "bolt on" temporary battery cable terminal ends. after almost 60+ years of screwing around with vehicles, those things have caused more problems than they are...

    i'm interested as well, especially for a sending unit that will act with higher readings when cold, then lower readings when up to temperature, as well as a lower reading at hot idle which then increases as rpm's raise. :drinks:

    do NOT use standard taps in the bolt holes as they will have a tendency to cut the threads oversize ! use thread CHASERS instead. these will make sure your threads are clean and correct in thread size and pitch. i can't emphasize this enough ! just some friendly advice from a 50 year working...
