Apparently I'm going to need a refresher on setting the timing all. I just woke up and nothing is making the amount of sense it should be, and it's been a LONG time since I messed with the timing. Please help! Lol

I just hope I'm not told I have to take of the timing cover...
Yes I am talking about timing, sorry. And where I have it set at zero on the timing cover (I've forgotten how change the damn timing for the moment, let alone get the numbers to where you have suggested lol) could that cause stalling at start up? And only let it idle for a moment or two? I'll...
There is a adapter plate that attaches to the block with a thin gasket between that and the block, and the oil filter attaches to that. It's sandwiched between the filter and the block. And I'm sure it's coming from that area only because I happened to be standing right there at the moment it...
I recently found an oil leak around either the filter and plate, or the plate and block. Gasket seems to be fine and the plate seems to be on correctly. Wondering if this might be caused by too much oil pressure, and if anyone else has had this problem.
Hello again all, question about the number of degrees I should have my 318 stroker set at. Currently it's at 0 however I'm wondering if it should be above or below that mark. Thanks in advance.
I think a more prudent thing to ask at this point is whether or not it's a better idea to have some kind of vent routed outside of harms way rather than hooking up the separator which just runs in the engine compartment without a canister
Picked up an inline fuel filter and some tubing earlier, going to make a vent to sit above the tank near the rear of the car if I can't get the separator working. Going to do some more research on the subject first. Hope to hear more opinions on this subject though. Thanks again all.
I agree, I hooked up mine by lining up the cable tip with the hole while pressing the lever and sliding on. There isn't much room though so if possible you may want to remove the cluster.
I have a vented fuel cap, is that enough to make sure vapor lock doesn't occur? If not what can I do? Anybody have a diagram by chance?

Can I just run a small hose to a point above the tank with either a filter or relief valve on it?
It's a 73 rr clone (satellite) with a 318 bored and stroked. I have a Holley blue electric fuel pump I'm getting ready to put on and I want to make sure the fuel system is good to go. I don't have the canister that goes with it but I have a separator off of a dodge polara that I can use if need be.
Heard mixed answers on this, but is the fuel vapor separator nessecary? Or can you just plug the 4 ports on the tank and be good to go? Interested to see the replies, thx in advance.
I too would like to express my gratitude to everybody that volunteered their expertise. That's why I actually joined this site, because of all the forums this has the most people who prefer to help as opposed to point out how wrong you are! Thanks again everybody! I'm sure ill b posting many...
Thank you for the detailed reply and the pics, makes perfect sense now. I was confused why the manual had the spring where it did (that's why I placed where it is, I had it in the correct position before) will see how it operates now. Thx again and your setup is looking real nice btw!
