I run 275 60 15 on a 7 inch rim on a 69 bee.

New truck Dana's are very different from old muscle car ones they are bigger and heavier without any benefit you'd have to replace the mounts for springs and probably shorten the width on the axle meaning new shafts anyway unless you got lucky and found one not too wide

The only thing I did was notch the k frame to fit the oil pan

I used a small block k frame with my big block I don't remember it having issues being offset using big block mounts. 73 charger

I believe it's the regulator it's the box on the firewall with the big plug beside the electronic ignition box

I've got a 73 charger that I swapped a big block into it has a new battery and a new alternator. My problem is it wasn't charging before and I figured the factory gauge just didn't work but it died while driving a few times. I've played with the box on my firewall and then it started bouncing...

It was sitting shut off with the fans running I figure that's what killed it but the timing is at 41 with about 8to1 compression and the mixture should be right but the power valve is blown

I had water flowing through the block when it was bare and all the hoses are hot the heaters not hooked up but it is blocked instead of looped right now I wasn't able to get hose ends at the time. I believe water is flowing as it should.

It came back down to 190 with the electric fans and shut off but then the battery died after 20 minutes and had to be boosted and started having electrical issues like the tac stopped working and brake lights not coming on.
