I see this is an old thread and I am sure this is a common question but trying to do some research on rear tire size for a 66 coronet. Sounds like 255/60 on 15x8 will work without any mods. Will 255/70 on 15x8 work in rear without any mods? Everything is stock on the car. Thank you.

Hello! The nephew of the 96yr old owner said that the owner just really liked the car as well as a Chevelle and loved to drive them both, so he kept them thru the years. The owner is still living but no longer drives.
