Joe Suchy said with the 64 and 65 glove boxes (rem with a shiny-ish cardboard look) you have to take about 1/8” off of the front edge of the box. I did not buy it from him but he did have what I hope is the answer. He said it should work once that is removed. I’ll update if I get it in in the...
you will need to remove it and take the cover off of the box to access the heater core. Three studs go through the firewall with nuts on the engine side and there are two bolts that hold the box in on the cab side to brackets. The blower can be removed from the box while it’s in the car, it’s...
I have about 50 photos of the box being disassembled, painted and rebuilt. I can throw a thread together soon and share it. My car had no hoses routed to it when I bought it so I was unsure if it leaked. I HAD to remove and check to be sure. It was straightforward but I took plenty of time...
Here is my 64. I have the interior pulled out right now. Switching it over to red superstock Gary Ball. I rebuilt the heater box, bulkhead, firewall insulation...things like that. I should post some build threads. May help some people. :)
EVERYTIME I try to log back into forbbodiesonly.com I am forced to use the "forgot password" option. I've been a member since 2015 and the system does not remember my PW. I've emailed for assistance and got not reply...so I'm making a post.
For example, just now, I had to click forgot pw...
Working on my 64 plymouth belvedere, and I've attached a photo that hopefully "speaks a thousand words."
My rear view mirror does not have provisions for either sunvisor "tips". I would like to add them.
My questions are, what is the correct rear view mirror for a 64 Belvedere?
Assuming...
Thank you! Helped me to not go in circles at the parts store. I was hoping that wasn’t the answer, but figured it might be. For reference, my headers are the Summit Brand ceramic coated type. Love everything but the plug situation!
Thank you both. To clarify, I have stock heads with stock plug holes. Just looking for a part number that I can put right in. For example, Autolite 85 but with a 5/8 head size. I understand I need the same plug depth and heat range, I’m looking for the plug part number that someone has ran...
Is there a plug that uses a 5/8 socket with the same characteristics of a stock 13/16 head plug? I have header clearance problems on my 383 Belvedere. Thanks!
Does it? I wouldn’t know. I only know that the switch has an off position and then two clicks to the right. Off, low, and high, I assumed. Can’t confirm it’s the original motor though and since the switch is not connected at the motor I can’t confirm their compatibility.
Anyone else know...
