I think a well thought out NOS setup will cost you the same as any other power adder. Sure you could buy a $600 dollar base kit and be disappointed with the performance. But a well thought out kit will take both time, money and research. You are not going to bolt on a kit and put 250 hp...

HUGHES rocker shaft hold down kit, studs, restricts oil flow? see pic...

I don't run HUGHS rocker shafts. What I am running are Indy SR heads and they have .050 restrictors on the oil lines going to the heads. I had to go to .020 restrictors because I was getting to much oil to the head and emptying the oil pan. 7200 rpm limiter pill on the engine.

Just remember when building HP you have to build around the total HP. That being said, 12 to 1 is Ok. Do all the research on NOS. It only takes 1 mistake to do damage to your engine.

What are you running in your Radiator?

I run Evans collant. Boils over at 300 degree's freezes at -70 below. You use a 4 lb radiator cap. We use them in all of are semi's. We use 210 degree thermostats. Evans says you should get .005 to .10 mpg increase. That's why we changed.

What do you shift your car at when running it..at the strip.....:)

If you want to have a good starting point for shifting and don't want to use the string trick that works, Take your car to a chassis dyno and do a all gear dyno run. Look at your results and go from there.
