pair of 68 barracuda notchbacks, one a running driving idaho car and the other a mn parts car. both have titles $3800 or trade?

I also have a '68 Barracuda fastback available (318, center console, buckets, Factory disc brakes, etc.) & may also be selling my '69 2-dr hardtop Dart WSS (Western Sport Special). Again, this is if your parameters change.

I know somebody that has a 69 Coronet convertible for sale in Indiana. Might be more than 200 miles away from you though...

Sounds like you have a drivetrain that you are looking for a place to put it. Even with that as a plan, if it were me, I would be looking for a a complete numbers matching done car instead. This is the absolute best time to buy a car like this for bottom dollar. Then pull the original drivetrain and pickle it, drop your drivetrain in, and drive it like you stole it. When your done with it and want to sell it, you will have a fresh original engine to go with the car and never had to worry about blowing it up.

Additionally, I will predict that we are very close to seeing some rediculous jumps in the prices of these old cars. As has happened TWICE in the last 20 years, the paper stock traders will be looking for something TANGIBLE to invest in. The fact that the prices have been down for the past 2 years, they will look at it as ripe to make some money. Things could easily get stupid again.

I am a little far away but thought you might like to check out this sweetheart I found in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Building it to sell, going total original restoration with 383 four speed quick shift Hurst. I have some pics on my profile gallery of some of the original work done, lots of steel replaced, good body work and 90% complete. Also got a High Nickle 440 block and crank with it as well so some consideration in going with the 440.
