convertible top

on a 69 gtx, there are three wires coming of the convertible top rocker switch. two go to top motor, where does the power wire plug in. can't find a place close enough to plug in and wiring diagrams don't show top wiring at all

usually to a breaker on the left kick panel area by E brake, which then connects to the loom heading to pump under rocker cover.

yes i have those wires. they come off the switch with a third wire which i assume is the power wire. this wire has a flat blade female end. does it hood to a relay to get power to switch. anyone have a wiring diagram

Many many moons ago I was helping a friend sort out his '69 Olds 442. He wired in an electric fuel pump with an low oil pressure cutoff switch (amongst other things). Well, he only had one roll of purple wire and...........you can guess the rest.

Most of the time Q1, the big red wire, is separate from the dash wiring harness. The end with the spade terminal goes to the breaker in the kick panel.
