Can anyone tell me if the chrome trim around the convertible top is supposed to stick up? I've looked at multiple photos of cars and videos and they all seem to be a little different...some stick up and some are flush. Thanks!

can you post a pic of what you are talking about? what do you mean by 'stick up'?

Here's a couple pics of a 68 RT and 68 GTX which has trim that looks just like the 70 Sat Conv I used to have.

Could you guys post some pix of your trim up close with the convertible top up? I assume the top cover is supposed to hook over the trim and then snap at the front. I just wonder how far the trim is supposed to be up.
 
The trim sticks up enough for the top cover to clip on to it it definately does not sit flush.
 
Are you talking about the top of the windshield trim to the convertible top? I can't find any closeups of mine and the car is in storage for the winter.

Thanks guys. Yup, I was talking about the molding that wraps around the convertible top. It looks like is sticks up but only a very little. Mine sticks up too high.
