I have a 67 Coronet, does it need a puller like the older style Chrysler rear drums for removal or can they be removed with some penetrating oil, pounding and maybe a little cursing?

Thanks

As far as I remember unless you have a nutted axle unit the drums should "slide" right off ... although slide is a very relative term ... a little oil will help I'm sure. You may also need to adjust/loosen the brake shoes in case they are grabbing the drum.

Thanks! You guys and this site rocks! One of the shoes was grabbing the drum, got it loosened and off, I am seeing a leaky slave cylinder. Got a replacement cylinder, shoes and drums look OK so my problem should be solved soon... that one anyway LOL :angry9:

Thanks again.
