Car has been in body shop for almost five months. Doing full length quarter bottoms on both sides and paint. Needed trunk extensions and fabrication of edge of outer wheel houses. Estimated time was three weeks when I dropped it off. I found out he tells everyone three weeks from talking to other customers with cars stalled in the shop. I went to check on progress 10/4/13 and shop owner was not around so I wrote "I have been here 4 1/2 months as of 10/4/13" in the dirt on the windshield as a warning to new customers. When he does complete things they look pretty good. Here is a copy of the 57 Ford recently finished. It was delivered with the front clip off due to an engine fire on the 312 cubic inch dual four barrel setup. The guy told me he quoted him 3 weeks and it took 3 1/2 months. My advice to those dropping of a car for restoration. When they give you an expected completion time, double it and add a $50 a day deduction to the agreement for every day they miss the completion date.

Thanks for the compliment… it's Toyota Tundra-Speedway blue (I know it's not a stock color but it does look good in the sun).

Speedway Blue is one of the reasons I bought my Tacoma.

Very purdy on your Satellite...

Wow that is a nice color! What type of paint did you use? Your car is just screaming for its chrome!
