413/426 wedge dual quad...anyone have one?

I've got my '63 plymouth wagon and getting ready to pull out the worn out poly 318 and replace it with what should be a pretty stout early 413 with dual quad setup. I've seen a couple pics of guys cars on here with the early dual quads but have never seen or heard how they run...pretty good?

I know my car should be like a complete new animal with the transplant and cant wait to take it out after done but would like to hear from others with same setup how they like the inlines. Thanks.

My driveline is/will consist of the following:

'63 413 engine 10:1 compression, 282/292 cam, windage tray, factory cast iron dual inline intake w/pair of 500 cfm edelbrocks (setup and gone through for duals). Factory bb pushbutton trans, headers and 3.91 sure-grip rear.

Also, with what I will be running would it be recommended to upgrade to a mild stall converter? I was told the stock one would be okay but I have a reputable shop nearby that said they could make me one for the early trans that would be around a 2300 stall that would really make the car come alive??? BS or good advice?
 
I moved this cause while you're maybe looking for some advice, the main objective is a want ad. Kinda hate to move it, but if I let it stay it opens the door for more "wanted" adds in the wrong section.

Early intakes and carbs can be found on ebay once and a while also go to mopar swap meets.

All 1962 Max Wedge engines were equipped with a pair of Carter #3447 AFB four barrel carburetors. These were roughly a 600 cfm carburetor with small 1-7/16 inch primary and larger 1-11/16 inch secondary throttle bore sizes. They were great carburetors and perform well on street applications and race cars. You can tell a #3447 style carb at a glance so if you are building a 1962 model year Max Wedge car it is important for appearance sake to have the correct carburetor. The fuel inlet is on the front right side of the top cover and points straight forward. They can be identified by the Carter Carb number stamped on the front right mounting ear and a build tag that would be attached by one of the top cover screws. there will be the number 3447SA and next to that or below that stamping there will be a date code stamped on the same ear.
Also change to a slip yoke drive shaft, the old bolt up type wont last long in a heavy car or a sedan for that matter. Good luck, Bob Pagano

Here's mine.69 .030. over 440,Crane 278/290 cam,complete inline 2x4's from a 62 300H,,complete 3" Max wedge exhaust,,65 cable shift with 62 valve body and 3.54 Dana.

wow cool wagon. i,m digging on the 3 inch exhaust . did not know maxies had a crossover. Rolling Thunder you are working on a sweet ride too. That 2 door is thecats meow

Thanks for the compliments also guys on the car. It is a works in progress but I like the way its going.
 
I have a dual quad for a 413, 426, 440. 60's model
 
I wouldn't be afraid to go up to 3000 rated converter... I have been running a 3200 COAN up until this year, and I wanted more with the MP 590 solid cam... I had the 292 / 509 hyd MP camshaft in my 69 RR 440, and it had a 3200 - 3500 rpm converter.... It really liked that!!!
