Who's going? I just checked the website and says 1628 cars pre-registered and I'm pretty sure like last year they capped the number of new Challengers (200ish)?

I'm attending a wedding so won't be there this year which is a bummer because at the least I like to get to the cruise and burnout contest at Wellington Motors in Guelph. I may be able to take part Sunday we'll see!

I will be there Sat and Sun with the 65 Coronet 500..even going out Friday Night for the cruise on Peel Street..you gotta make it at least one day.
AL

I spent 2 weeks in Mississauga I should have tried to coordinate my stay there( sons goalie school) with this event
maybe next year

I'm going. This will be my first time. What should I expect? Does anyone want to meet up? Where?

I am going, hauling down in the wagon to do some parts hunting.

I landed in Kitchener today. Going to Niagara for a couple days the back for the show. A fairly big group from FABO will be staying at the Best Western, with a few more guys at the Radison across the street. Haven't done this before but I think there will be a "small" party Friday night at the Best outside on the lawn. There's a FABO area at the show that will have quite a gathering there this year. Cool ones, BBQ, good folk and Mopar! Who could ask for more?

Best Western in Kitchener? I'm still around Friday night so if there's a place to find some Mopar folk I'd be in for that!

Yes. Sorry I should have been more specific. Kitchener Best Western and Radison are within 1 block of each other. As I said this is my first time to join the group but I'm thinkin there will be about 20 maybe more. Should be a good time for all. See you Friday!

Thanks gdrill! Yep I know the place, I live about 20 minutes from there in Guelph so I'll take a cruise by there Friday Night and see if anything is going on.

3 to 4 of us are leaving Friday mid day and staying at the Holiday Inn in Guelph. We make the drive to the Peel st show, lots of cars of all makes ,bands ,good food...
Last couple of years we park near the entrance to watch the cars coming in. Buddy of ours claimed the hill.

This should be fun,3 stroked 500" B bodies, just follow the stripes from Guelph to New Hamburg

How are the Police in that area? Would blowers & non DOT tires be a problem??
I got a ticket in Carlisle a few years back for "no hood":angry9:

Honestly I can't see the police harassing show cars for items like that... Last year they showed up outside the Saturday night burnout contest as a presence just because the year before everyone who left the cruise was encouraged to burn their tires off so I can see how that would have drawn some attention. They showed up before the show and announced they would be around so everyone would know better.... I thought that was fair.

About 3 years though I did hear problems with the ministry of transport showing up outside car shows and doing inspections... It was a big cash grab issuing citations for cars that should have newer emissions standards (for example like mine) because I have a newer engine than what was coded with the car... I'm not sure if any of those fines stuck though

Managed to make it to the Peel Cruise last night with Rick (Beezee), Al (ram250098) and Frank (owner Black Bitch!) Awesome guys with some seriously Baddass cars! The drive out to Peel St. was definitely the highlight and fortunately free of cops because we made some really good time :)

Gdrill my car and I did stop in to the Best Western for a bit after the cruise but I'm not sure if we crossed paths?

Here's a few pics from the drive, cruise and best western
