Can anyone help me with the mounting location of these shields. I'm pretty sure that they go between engine and front tires. But its been too long ago. I just found them going thru stuff from the move to San Antonio. Pictures would be helpful if possible, thanks in advance.

I installed the shields that, from the inside, block the view of the tire when the door is open...I think you mean those...but,on my 67 r/t, they don't look anything like those

No I think those are called fender splash shields. I think these keep water from the engine compartment.

They mount on the top of the front bumper braces. You'll see that one brace on each side runs at an angle that matches the angle of the holes in the shield. In 1966 these shields were metal vs plastic in 1967.

Ok thanks, I'll crawl under the car tomorrow and see how they mount. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the input that's where they go but unsure of the function. I also saw that I'm missing the lower grill mounting bracket. The part the lower part of the grill mounts to. I later found two pieces in the shed that probably go there.
